D ; c( T0 L& D* g3 T" eThe Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise, guidance and support to ITT’s global supply base and to support plant specific quality concerns as needed.# K0 ^9 Z8 \. T( G0 R' z' t v U, t • Promote ITT’s global quality system throughout ITT’s global supply base 6 b8 m6 f9 m6 J: T8 R: m• Work with ITT’s Global Sourcing and Plant Sourcing Department to identify new/potential suppliers3 i& ?1 E2 G' G2 S+ U. v% H • Perform/support audits on new and/or key suppliers as needed in order to establish stable process control and quality management system with supplier, improving parts quality situation. 3 d8 K% o0 O/ Z5 G5 C% S4 ]• Be involved in the validation and the approval for production part and evaluation for process capability/ n6 Y2 H% D+ c3 Y7 \: Q( M2 F • Adjust supplied parts’ quality problem, assist supplier to drive appropriate countermeasures accordingly and verify the follow-up activities and its effectiveness subsequently, and calculate the PPM.+ T" v0 N: \2 G. t • Support to avoid the matters of customer claims and production disruptions caused by supplied part’s quality. % R! U2 Y7 q" z6 C5 n' Z: j Q9 v • Assess quality performance of supplier, put forward requirements of improvement objective and follow the implementation.2 A- R- \& x1 y7 K' Q8 _% ?, @ • Provide leadership/support to supplier to deploy Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes.; u% f( ], O" F7 J" j • Provide support, guidance, and training to both suppliers and ITT quality and manufacturing personnel as needed in terms of quality system, process control and technology.
